While summer usually is a holiday time and part of society is enjoying beautiful sunny days, we’ve been working hard, and it paid off.
We successfully passed the GWO Enhanced First Aid Training (EFA) and GWO Blade repair (BR) course audit. And you know, this time we are more than proud to announce that IQTC is the FIRST training center in Baltic states and one of the first training centers in Europe to provide GWO EFA and BR module training.
The Enhanced First Aid is meant for personnel who is or will work in the wind industry or related fields, and who will have duties to fulfil in a wind turbine environment, and usually being in physical contact with a wind farm environment or an offshore wind structure.
The Blade Repair training is meant for personnel who will be working in the wind industry specifically in relation to composite inspection and repair work. The GWO blade repair training module will also equip participants with the knowledge, skills and confidence to appropriately respond in the event of a hazardous situation and to increase their safety through proper use of personal protective equipment, emergency equipment, procedures and safe craftsmanship.
